As Australia's Governments lean more towards Multi-National business and less towards small business, the future for Ryadia™ and Technoaussie™ is moving towards an on-line business. High rents, increased liability for employing and a plethota of other barriers to a traditionl business model mean that what was profitable in 1980 is now a receipt for disaster.
Planning Weddings — our Wedding Expo and event planning business that in 2006 began publishing the 'Planning Weddings magazine'
has closed the magazine publishing department and moved to a 'Directory' style on-line publication. Our Government
tells us small business has to work smarter, be more inovative and inventive... Nothing said about how to fund the transition to this business of the future but the
implications are to borrow money, find an investment angel (read that as hock your house and agree to give your future profits to someone prepared to fund the change).
Our policy of no debts is at risk if we follow the advise of Government. "All business runs on debt" we were told. Not so our company if we can't pay for the change, we'll do as thousands of others before us have done. Simply close up shop and take a holiday... A long one.Wedding Directory
